Sharon Mordecai
Sharon has worked in accountancy practices since 1991. In 2011, after 20-years in accounting, she founded Modina with the vision to offer financial support services to small businesses and drive growth through good financial management.
A business owner herself, she understands the trials that business owners can face, especially when it comes to the financial side of things, and takes pride in helping her clients achieve their potential.
Patrick Collier
In his own words, Patrick is difficult to pigeonhole. From humble beginnings as a tea boy in a high-street bank in Grimsby, to C-level jobs at some of the world’s leading investment banks and even taking a small school from bankruptcy to a seven-figure trade sale, Patrick has worn many hats.
What is constant though is his drive to succeed and that is imperative for clients. He has to like the people he works with, love the product and believe that he can make a positive impact. It all comes down to how he can help clients succeed and get them to where they want to be.
Sebastian Murphy
After several years working within the corporate financial services sector, Sebastian co-founded JLM in 2002.
Whilst initially managing the lender relationship side of the business, Sebastian now also runs the operational side of JLM Mortgage Network, whilst still looking after c2000 of his own personal clients.
Sebastian sits on a number of Industry leader panels, is often quoted in the press and produces a number of articles per year, on the future and direction of the mortgage industry.
Rory Joseph
After completing a degree in English Literature, Rory fell into financial services by accident, but found that he had discovered his perfect career. Following a decade of working for a national firm as Development Director, Rory co-founded JLM in 2002 and founded the specialist Wealth Management IFA arm a few years later.
Rory is well known locally for his ten year stint on a monthly BBC radio show, dispensing financial and mortgage advice to listeners. He sits on a number of groups within both the lender and regulatory sphere, including the FCA Network Panel and is a regular contributor to local and national media, as a commentator on the world of personal finance.

Joe Smith
Joe is an Accountant with many years of experience helping clients manage their businesses. He is a very motivated individual who prides himself on building strong relationships with all his clients. Many clients have given testimony to Joe’s ability to help them grow and succeed.

Tyler Owens
Tyler’s approachable style and dedication make him a trusted partner for clients looking to stay on top of their numbers and focus on what they do best.

Mike Tipper
Mike has over 30 years of experience in financial advice and planning. In his spare time, he loves watching Rugby and Cricket. Mike is also a keen golfer!

Lynda Dix
Lynda started processing payrolls in 2008 and joined the payroll team in 2018. Lynda enjoys being part of the payroll team and maintains good relationships with her clients. She is always prepared to go the extra mile when required.

Kayleigh McLaughlin
Dedicated to accuracy and efficiency, Kayleigh ensures every payroll runs smoothly and on time, giving clients peace of mind that their teams are always taken care of.

Ollie Chinn
Ollie joined Modina through our apprenticeship program. Ollie enjoys gaining hands-on experience while continuing to learn and work toward his qualification.

Toni-Marie Usher
Toni-Marie started with Charlie Puffin Group in 2015 as maternity cover for payroll. She then moved over to the bookkeeping department where her role has been a range of administrative, payroll, bookkeeping and credit control.
Toni-Marie has great relationships with her clients and will strive to keep them happy.

Ryan Scott
Ryan joined Charlie Puffin Group in 2019 and is currently studying AAT level 4. He does management accounts bookkeeping, and VAT preparations. When he’s not working, Ryan loves watching sport – particularly football, F1, and rugby!

Lauren Beaney
Lauren joined our Accounting team in 2025. Her sharp attention to detail and experience managing large portfolios have prepared her to deliver high-quality, efficient client service.

Chloe Hales
Chloe joined Charlie Puffin Group in July 2020 after graduating from Bournemouth University with a degree in Communications and Media. Chloe is responsible for creating monthly social media content plans and digital dashboards, and absolutely loves building relationships with her clients.

Maryna Cherednichenko
Detail-oriented and client-focused, Maryna takes pride in keeping books precise and organized while building strong, supportive relationships with every client she works with.

Tania Gomes
Tania ensures timely and accurate credit management, balancing strong client relationships with effective financial oversight to keep operations running smoothly.

Amanda is our Group Benefits Specialist, providing only the best for clients and employees.

Andy Edgar
Andy has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. He prides himself on understanding a client’s needs and finding appropriate solutions.

Eliza Allen
Eliza is our Social Media Manager alongside Chloe. She joined the team in June 2022, and loves creating content for our clients!

Emma joined us as a Life and Pensions Administrator to support the wealth team. The diverse daily tasks provide continuous learning, and she enjoys the sense of accomplishment that comes from completing files.
